Elevating the Human Experience Through the Science of
Touch Communication

Educator, speaker, and creator of The Neurotouch Method™

Meet Jody

I’m Jody McDonald, an educator and speaker focused on the science of touch communication.

Everything I teach, from infant massage and couples’ workshops to professional and spa education, is grounded in a neuroscience-based approach to understanding how touch communicates safety, connection, and meaning.

Whether I’m teaching individuals, caregivers, or professionals, my focus is the same: helping people create intentional touch experiences that feel safe, memorable, and deeply human.

The Neurotouch Method™

The Neurotouch Method™ is a neuroscience-informed framework I developed to explain how the brain interprets touch, builds emotional memory, and decides whether an experience feels safe, meaningful, and worth returning to.

Predictive
Touch

Consistency in rhythm, pressure, and pacing helps the nervous system relax and trust the experience.

Attuned Communication

Presence and responsiveness shape how touch is perceived beyond technique, creating emotional safety and connection.

Emotional Memory & Return

When touch feels meaningful, the brain remembers it, anticipates it, and seeks it again.

What It Looks Like In Practice

Predictive Touch

I have had some not great experiences with massage. Jody is amazing. She puts you at ease immediately....I've never felt better after a massage.

Attuned Communication

I had my first massage in over 10 years this weekend...I am not a person who enjoys massages and usually avoid them. I am just not comfortable....Jody did such an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable right away and put me right at ease...

Emotional Memory & Return

I have seen Jody every second week for over a year now and it’s not because I’m always injured, but because she has a way of relaxing my mind and my body through her practice.. Whether I feel like having a spa day or I need physical therapy, Jody is where I go first.
